TED AND POPE FRANCIS
TED is a media organization which posts talks online for free distribution, under the slogan “ideas worth spreading”. TED was founded in February 1984 as a conference, which has been held annually since 1990.
TED recently hosted their latest edition, in Vancouver, Canada—TED 2017: The Future You. And, I can say, without a shred of doubt, that it’s been one of the best TED Talk sessions in a while. For one, the topics were so thought-provoking, current and relatable.
Every subject touched upon was completely relevant with what we, as a human race, are going through every single day. And then, to top that off, was a list of speakers you would probably wish to have on the list of most coveted speakers in the world. 4 notable speakers giving noteworthy talks at TED this time around was all the inspiration the world needs right now.

Why The Only Future Worth Building Includes Everyone
Speaker: His Holiness Pope Francis
“A single individual is enough for hope to exist, and that individual can be you”, says His Holiness Pope Francis in this searing TED Talk delivered directly from Vatican City. In a hopeful message to people of all faiths, to those who have power as well as those who don’t, the spiritual leader provides illuminating commentary on the world as we currently find it and calls for equality, solidarity and tenderness to prevail. He addresses and asks a very important question, during his heart-rending talk: Why them and not me? “Let us help each other, all together, to remember that the ‘other’ is not a statistic, or a number,” he says. “We all need each other.”
