A New Conference of St. Vincent DePaul has opened at the end of January here in St. Patricks Parish.  At present we have 9 members and we meet in the Presbyterian Church in Lucan Village every Monday night at 7.30.  We discuss cases and then go out on visits.
 
We give financial assistance where needed and we are also anxious to make contact with older people or those living alone that would like a visit.
 
Within the Parish we do a Church Gate Collection every 3rd Sunday.  Last month was the first Collection made and realised €1,400 which will help greatly our work.
