WELCOME TO YOUR NEW HOME IN ADAMSTOWN
Adamstown is within the parish boundary of Esker/Dodsboro Parish. The Parish in conjunction with the Diocese will have a number of incremental pastoral engagements with the Development. Our Parish Pastoral Council has given considerable consideration to the new Development. We have tried to honour the very strong ecumenical relationships in the Lucan Area as a way of pastoral planning. The following is a brief summary of our vision. 1. "St. John the Evangelist" Primary School
This School opened on 3rd September, 2007. Mr Tony Mc Ginley is the Principal.

3. DISTRICT CENTRE The heart of the Adamstown Development will be the District Centre - the Civic, Commercial and Residential Area. The Parish has been working with the Church of Ireland, the Methodist Church and the Presbytarian Church in an effort to have a shared place of worship. Architectural Plans have been completed for a Church, a Blessed Sacrament Oratory, a Hall and a number of Meeting Rooms.
