PENTECOST 19th May 2013 There is Eucharistic Adoration on Saturday from 5.00 to 6.20 p.m. All are welcome to spend some time in quiet prayer and reflection.
We thank those who contributed to the collections last week 1st Collection €1115 This money goes to pay the salaries of the Priests of the Parish; Priests in Poorer Parishes; Priests in non income-earning appointments; 2nd Collection €985 (Vocation Collection) For Diocesan Development, Poorer Parishes, Parish Projects Planned Giving Collection Envelopes €1140 and standing orders €516. This money is the major source of income for Parish Expenses, Salaries, Maintenance, Development. We thank all those who faithfully contribute regularly to this fund. Saint Patrick’s Parish Prayer Group meet in the Pastoral Centre every Monday from 8.30 - 9.15 p.m. (with the exception of Bank Holidays). All are welcome to join the group in prayer. The Parish Praesidium of the Legion of Mary meets in the Pastoral Centre every Friday 7.30 - 9 p.m. New members are most welcome. A Loop System has been installed for those who use hearing aids in the seated area in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Please give us feedback in regard to its effectiveness.
If you have a disability and wish to receive Communion at any Mass please inform the Sacristy beforehand and a Minister of Communion will bring Communion to your seat.
Please note: In the interest of child safety and good practice, children using the toilet facilities in the Pastoral Centre MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Archbishop Martin has appointed Fr Barry Murphy to the Lucan Parishes. Thank you for making him so welcome here over the past few months.
We are pleased to announce that our next Parish Pilgrimage will take place during the summer of next year 2013. If anyone is thinking of travelling and would like to avail of our savings facility, they can do so from now. All monies refundable up to 8 weeks before date of travelling.
