Parish Holy Week & Easter Schedule 2026

Fr. Bill, Fr. John, Fr. Ubaldo, Fr. Pius & Deacon John, and Cathy (Parish Catechist) join with the Parish Pastoral Council in wishing all parishioners every Blessing and Joy of the Easter Season. We warmly invite you to journey with us through Holy Week and Easter 2026 — a sacred time in the life of the Church, as we walk with Christ through His Passion, Death, and Resurrection. All are welcome to join us for prayer, liturgy, and reflection.


Holy Week & Easter Timetable

Timetable of Services

Palm Sunday – April 29th, 2026

  • Significance: Commemorates the triumphal entry of the Lord into Jerusalem.
  • Masses: 9:00 am, 10:30 am, and 12:00 noon.
  • Note: Blessing of Palm at all Masses.

Holy Thursday – 2nd April 2026

  • Significance: Celebration of the institution of the Blessed Eucharist.
  • Service: Solemn Celebration of the Lord’s Supper at 8:00 pm.
  • Features: Includes the washing of feet, reminding us of our call to service.
  • Note: No morning Masses are celebrated.

Good Friday – 3rd April 2026

  • 12:00 pm: Stations of the Cross for Children.
  • 3:00 pm: Solemn Celebration of the Lord’s Passion, including Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion.
  • 8:00 pm: Stations of the Cross with guided meditations.

Holy Saturday – 4th April 2026

  • Daytime: A somber day recalling the Lord in the tomb; no Sacraments are celebrated until the Vigil.
  • 9:00 pm – Easter Vigil: Celebrates the triumph of Christ over death.
  • Features: Lighting of the outdoor fire, distribution of light from the Easter Candle, renewal of Baptismal promises, and the Easter Alleluia.

Easter Sunday – 5th April 2026

  • Masses: 9:00 am, 10:30 am, and 12:00 noon.
  • Theme: “HE IS RISEN” (Matthew 28:6).

Confessions

  • Mon, Tues, Weds and Thurs of Holy Week – After 10am Mass (unless a funeral is taking place)
  • Holy Saturday – 11am to 12noon, and 2pm to 3pm

Holy Week Reflection

Holy Week invites us into the deepest mysteries of faith — from the Last Supper to the Cross, and ultimately to the joy of the Resurrection. We encourage all parishioners to take part in these liturgies as moments of grace, renewal, and hope.
